A k\u00f6lt\u0151 szobr\u00e1t, amely Csontos L\u00e1szl\u00f3 szobr\u00e1szm\u0171v\u00e9sz alkot\u00e1sa 1964-ben \u00e1ll\u00edtott\u00e1k fel a gimn\u00e1zium 1956-ban emelt \u00e9p\u00fclete (R\u00e1k\u00f3czi \u00fat 2.) el\u0151tt. Az avat\u00e1si \u00fcnneps\u00e9get a k\u00f6lt\u0151 n\u0151v\u00e9re, J\u00f3zsef Etelka is megtisztelte jelenl\u00e9t\u00e9vel.
